Things To Do

Fun is always in season at PlumpJack Squaw Valley.

We won’t think any less of you if you just want to bring a book and curl up by the fireplace or sit out by the pool. Then again, it would be a shame to waste an opportunity like this. Our staff loves to get outdoors and would be delighted to help you plan an awesome Lake Tahoe adventure.

Squaw Valley is where the 1960 Winter Olympics took place, so it’s no surprise this is a prime skiing destination. But Lake Tahoe is a splendid place to be outdoors any time of year. Some of the most beautiful trails in California are right out our front door, and the weather in summer and fall is perfect for hiking and mountain biking.

PlumpJack Squaw Valley Inn is just a couple of miles from the Truckee River and less than 8 miles from the lake. You can also take an extraordinary ride in the Squaw Valley Aerial Tram to elevation 8200 feet where you’ll find breathtaking views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and Lake Tahoe. And of course our location just steps from The Village at Squaw Valley puts you in close proximity to shopping and dining.
